37 miles this cool, humid morning. Nine of us left Oak Ridge 9:30-ish and headed north through Stokesdale and on to Belews Creek power plant. Someone asked me, “Have you climbed The Hill?” No, I hadn’t, but it turned out to be not so bad. Not a breeze, but not bad.
It was one of those rides where, hills excluded, I didn’t feel like I was working too hard, and managed to keep spin along at a respectable page. And by the way, the Fall colors are still vivid.
