Not bad. I got in two good rides totaling 76 miles, plus I went to Charlotte with the family to watch the Twilight Crit. Caught both the women’s race — which started as a crashfest and ended in a field sprint won by T-Mobile’s Ina Teutenberg — and the men’s. Like most crits the pace was extreme; with big bucks on the line several teams kept the lap averages over 30 mph. Although Health Net went to the front on the last lap, with the clear intention of leading out one of their big guns, Colavita came through for the second year in a row with Juan Jose Haedo easily taking the sprint.
