A smooth paceline is the best way to cover miles. There’s a hard effort at the front of the group, then the chance to rest before another pull. Under the right conditions the miles glide past.

Four of us split from the evening Day School ride and took turns pulling into the wind. We covered 21.1 miles at a decent pace for early April. The route: North on Lake Brandt Rd, east on Hwy 150, south on Clayton then Doggett, onto Church St., then Air Harbor Road back to Lake Brandt and the starting point.
