About 10 of us hit the road around 9 AM for a chilly, windy, beautiful ride. We started at Jesse Wharton Elementary on Lake Brandt Road and headed toward Reidsville; as we looped back around Baker’s Crossing, you could see autumn leaves for miles. Spectacular — probably the best ride of the year. Total miles: 37.
