I bought my Pinarello back

I bought my Pinarello back in the days when there were numerous Italian boutique builders selling their wares in the US. I knew guys with Viners, Faggins, Scapins, and other brands that are rare to nonexistent around here anymore. The commoditization of Italian bikes – which look a lot like bikes pouring out of Taiwanese factories – has sparked my interest in some of the lesser known Italian brands. With the exception of the very nice Pegorettis, which have good distribution in the US, I’m thinking of Casatis, Viners, and the still very nice Scapins.
