I joined the Farmer’s Market ride for the first time today. I like the route; it’s mostly flat with a few rolling hills, and winds its way out into Forsyth County and back. I’ve heard plenty of stories about the pace of the ride (“It’s for A and A+ riders”), but there’s a growing contingent of B riders who join in, so what the hell. It’s a faster B ride than the Day School ride, but not overly so. We dodged rain showers while clocking 31.5 miles at an average of 19.25 mph. All in all, a good workout.
