The weather killed tonight’s Roaming Ride. It wasn’t raining, but the cold drizzle kept all but a couple of us away. Without others to egg us on, we bagged it.
Instead, I prepped the tandem for the Saturday coffee ride, and swapped tires on the mountain bike to make it trail-ready.
After getting the tandem in shape — adjusting the derailleurs and fit — the VeloWife and I went for a brief ride around the neighborhood. We hadn’t been on it in a while so the start was a bit shaky, but then we settled down and acted like we knew what we were doing.
