A trip to CDO took care of the damage to my Burley Fox Hollow. Just like that, they brought the wheel back into true, straightened the derailleur hanger and replaced some aging cables. I retaped the bars and now it’s looking newish — other than the skinned brake hoods, which I decided not to replace.
The helmet’s toast, but wandered into Paceline Bicycles at the right time and found a replacement. Plan A was to replace my Limar with a Giro Eclipse, but the comfort and venting (and sale price) of a Giro Pneumo was too much to resist.
My limp’s almost gone, so maybe I’ll be back on the road soon. Maybe by Thanksgiving?
