Several of us showed up for the Day School ride last night, and sat in our cars past the start time wondering if the lightning and rain were going to stick around. About 6:15 the rain slowed to a slow drizzle and there was no lightning to be seen, so seven of us rolled out for a quick ride up to Rockingham County and back. Every so often we’d see lightning in the distance, and there were a few raindrops, but the front cooled things off and made the ride a lot more comfortable. The stats: 23.7 miles at 19.5 mph.
