Jill and I do a lot of behind-the-scenes volunteer work for Breakthrough T1D. When we were asked to share our story about how her son and I were diagnosed with type one diabetes, met at a bike ride, and came to live together in New York, we took a deep breath, reminded each other we’ll do anything to make cures for T1D a reality, and agreed to do it. The wonderful folks at Beyer Creative visited us in Plattsburgh, and this is the video they produced for the Breakthrough T1D gala in Albany we attended last Friday.
