Sis-in-law Amy had never been to Vermont, so we helped her check that box with a day trip to Burlington. The agenda: Lunch at The Farmhouse, then checking out the shops on Church Street. We had a rain-soaked walk and stopped at the usual stores: Outdoor Gear Exchange (we missed The Daily Show’s Jordan Klepper by a day), Old Crow Bookshop, and Vermont Eclectic Co. Bad news: The latter place is closing, though there was some consolation in picking up a sweet hoodie for half off.
