I took a few days off last week to fly to Santa Fe and join the support crew for the Breakthrough T1D Ride to Cure. We loaded and unloaded trucks, drove SAG vehicles, directed traffic, and took care of a 1001 details that ensure the participant experience is great. And it was — 112 riders raised over $800,000 to support research and advocacy focused on ending type one diabetes.
