The Amargosa Motel and Opera House sit at the intersection of Hwy 127 and State Line Road in Nevada. Other than a garage that closed long ago, there’s little else to see. Still, this unique bit of Americana is worth a visit. Two weeks ago, the valley flooded, temporarily shutting down the motel. Their wonderful cafe went out of business during the pandemic. Let’s hope the motel survives.
